Also, the two-speed motor is versatile enough to handle multiple uses and tasks, giving you the freedom to gather a range of items or use the blower to clear off a pool cover, picnic table, or lawn furniture.

Like all Greenworks lawn products, the 24602 will never release an ounce of carbon emissions into the air. And because it's powered by a lithium-ion battery (sold separately), this pole saw won't create the mess and potential danger of gasoline spills. The Lithium-Ion Advantage
The 24602 can be powered by a 6.0-Ah lithium-ion battery or a lighter-weight 2.6-Ah lithium-ion battery (batteries not included). Lithium-ion batteries provide up to three times longer runtime than comparable nickel-cadmium batteries--up to 2,000 cycles. They also maintain consistent power, so you won't be disturbed by power lapses or surges. And because lithium-ion batteries are recyclable and are manufactured without heavy metals, this lithium-ion tool is an choice.
Available Charger Reduces Energy Usage by 35 Percent
Compatible 24602 batteries can be conveniently charged in the corresponding rated charger (not included ). The charger is Energy Star rated, which means it has been shown by the EPA to reduce energy usage by an average of 35 percent from conventional yard tools. Plus, you can charge your batteries any time without any negative memory effect.

Efficient Electric Motor
Because it runs on a 12 Amp electric motor. The electric motor runs at about 70 decibels, significantly reducing noise pollution, and it has none of the emissions associated with gas-powered engines.
